According to Wikipedia, “Search Engine Optimization is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic")search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines”. Some believe it is the manipulation of keywords for search engines where a certain site can rank high in terms of its content with the use of these so-called keywords. In a nutshell, it is when you have a website and when someone searched a certain topic which is mentioned in your site, your website will turn up in the first page of the results. As they sarcastically say, if your domain turns up on the second page, it might as well be on the fifty-second.
But where exactly are we going to? Why is this relevant? When a user searches for something and when he/she sees it right away (on the first page of course), that is where he/she is going to “visit”. And if that happens simultaneously with ten thousand users, it will generate a substantial traffic on the site and that where the money comes in. Yes, money. With this, owners of sites realized how important it is to have a high-ranking domain. There are even tracking applications, (also available on mobile) where you can monitor how many visitors your site had and can also determine what page-rank it is.
When a domain is viewed a number of times, it is a good opportunity for marketers and advertisers where they will pay for an inch of space of that site so that their product could be marketed. Under these advertisers, is a sizeable population of web affiliates, internet merchants that also benefit from these ads. Since the 1990’s, search engines where optimized by webmasters where they use programming skills to create “spiders” that manipulate the ranks on search engines. Today, millions of owners of personal web pages, business sites, and all sorts of social media platform are able to monetize because of SEO.
Not just in an actual marketplace with actual products, the web is a whole new universe of buy-and-sell where you can turn your laptops into a money-making machine.

BB CREAM VS. FOUNDATION: A Probe
In a tropical country like the Philippines, the Filipina working woman has a lot on her shoulders, the juggling of taking good care of her family and having a fulfilling career life are just a few of the things on her plate.
Grooming, is another factor to consider when a career gal prioritizes her career and advancement. The billion-dollar cosmetic industry has tons to offer a woman, in order for her to look her best- then the argument of which beauty product is suited for her pops up.
When it comes to the basics of applying make-up, especially on evening-out the skin tone and covering up the flaws or blemishes, one should consider what should be used-- a foundation or a bb cream? The 'technique' or standard in applying your foundation is that you must first use a primer, to cover big pores and smoothen the face for a perfect matte finish. Then after letting it settle for a few minutes, that is the time to apply your chosen foundation.
"Is it ok to use bb cream after putting on the foundation?", one might ask. But most bb (beblesh balm/blemish balm) creams already contain primers along with medicinal qualities that can give your skin prolonged benefits. The only thing that I might not love about bb creams is that they feel heavy on the face. I have tried two (2) of the best bb creams on the market that I have researched on the net -- ETUDE HOUSE BB Cream is the longest lasting and perfectly covers my big pores but it feels heavy and gunky on the face, it is similar to wearing theater make up. One more thing I have noticed while using it, is that it dried my face a little bit, but it was okay, no harm done.
The other bb cream I have tried is HAYAN BB Cream GOLD CAVIAR. This one feels light on the face and gives moderate cover-up, the downside is that you need to retouch it after 3-4 hours. The labels and writings on the product are mostly Korean, you wouldn't know what SPF it has, or if it even has sunscreen, unlike the ETUDE HOUSE it clearly states it has SPF 30.
I have tried many foundations in search of the one that will most complement my skintone and minimize imperfections. I have used MAX FACTOR cream foundation, LANCOME', SAN-SAN, COVER GIRL, L'OREAL, REVLON and the most recent that I have purchased is RIMMEL and it is by far, the best I have used in line with REVLON. Rimmel lasts long, as it says, and the good thing about it is that it feels light on the face and doesn't irritate my skin as it is acne- prone, I'm not blessed with good-skin genes that came from my mother. I still have seldom skin break outs up to this day and deciding which product goes well with my skin is a serious thing to consider.

It's in the bag!
After celebrating your 25th birthday, maybe it's a good thing to consider using cosmetics as a grooming habit. Unlike the younger age, too much cosmetics must be avoided as it iritates the young skin. According to a research, your genes maneuver your physical characteristics from the day you were born up until you are 22 years old. But when you reach the age of 25, your physical body will reflect how well you take care of it. It's not the make-up that is going to give perfect physique, but part of taking care of yourself also involves investing in good skin products and cosmetics.
Being the unstoppable working woman that you are, you need dependable products that will make you look your best so you can be brave enough to face challenges with confidence and allure.
Here are the most dependable top cosmetic must haves that should never leave your beauty purse:
1. Aveeno Sunblock SPF 40+
This wonderful sunscreen is waterbased and therefore, safe for acne-prone skin. It also comes with gentle moisturizers to pamper you. Heck, it smells good, too!
2. VOV cream foundation

3. HBC Eyebrow Pencil

4. Lancome' Brow Expert (Brunet)
This eyebrow mascara is by far the best this author has used (and still do). It's smear-proof and looks very natural. Best to use after applying the HBC eyebrow pencil. Ideal for quick everyday brow-grooming. The downside of this product is that it hardens quickly, soaking with hot water is only temporarily effective. Putting a few drops of water works a lot better.

This is a make-up must-have especially when you opt for a complete matte-look.
